Lowell Lecture by Bernice King - Minister, Attorney & Daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The 2018 Lowell Institute Lecture Series, themed "Speaking Up, Speaking Out: Voices of Social Justice," featured an array of renowned activists, speakers, and writers. Concluding this enlightening series was Bernice A. King, the CEO of The King Center and the youngest daughter of Coretta Scott King and the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. An accomplished public speaker, minister, and attorney, King's accomplishments ranged from establishing the Be a King Scholarship in honor of Coretta Scott King to leading the global commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. Her lecture was hosted at the Boston Public Library – Central Branch in Rabb Hall and was open to the public.
